In light of the challenges posed to the industry by the COVID-19 pandemic, our Board of Directors has resolved to make membership free to new members for the first year. It is our view that it is more important now than ever that the industry is unified in its resolve to work together to preserve and protect itself.

The Marine Association of the BVI is the voice of the Marine and Yachting industry in the British Virgin Islands. With over over 60 members employing over 2,500 individuals, we represent the interests of the industry including charter companies, visiting yachtspeople, boatyards, marinas, suppliers, contractors, hospitality services, tour operators, and other supporting industries. The Marine Association is the liaison between the Government of the Virgin Islands and the Marine Industry. It is a non-profit organization established in 1996.

COVID-19 UPDATES

The BVI's sea borders remain closed (except in limited circumstances) due to COVID-19. Marine tourism is open within the borders with restrictions. A curfew is in place from 02:00AM to 05:00AM.

Charter businesses, marinas, and services are open and available.

The anchorages are like you have never seen them before, and likely won't again. Serenity and seclusion abounds.
