MARINE ASSOCIATION OF THE BVI EST. 1996
WHO WE ARE
The Marine Association of the BVI was formed in 1996 and is comprised of many of the individuals and businesses which comprise and support the marine industry in the British Virgin Islands. It was founded with four key purposes which are documented in its bylaws:
1.To promote the marine industry in the British Virgin Islands by promoting professional and ethical standards of business and to safeguard our reputation as a centre of high quality service.
2.To interact with Government and other organisations on matters affecting the marine industry, including assisting members to locate marine shelter during hurricane season.
3.To promote employment and training of BVIslanders in the marine industry.
4.To undertake publicity and advertising on behalf of the Association.
